I do like the vest a lot. I looked at reviews and ended up getting a 2xl tall. It's been great and love the warmth. Especially being able later stuff under it.

Keeps you warm . Heavy sweat shirt and this is all you need . 6'1 200lbs went with L tall

Excellent vest option in traditional tough Carhartt style. Compared to mock-neck sherpa lined vest, insulation is much thicker and plush, fabric is a bit stiffer (hopefully loosens with time), and better fit across shoulders. Only reason 4-star is the zipper is a bit underwhelming, the antique bronze zipper of the less expensive mock-neck sherpa is far superior, more substantial, and more aesthetically pleasing. Perhaps there is a functional (fire?) reason for the weaker black zipper, otherwise, it should be replaced with the antique bronze style of the mock-neck vest.

Christmas present for son. 6 ft tall. 230 pounds. Stocky but not fat. Large too small and short. XL Tall fits perfect and he loves it.
