False advertisement and not so helpful customer support.
Listed as a midweight jacket but when you receive it it'll actually be lightweight. Then customer service will make it out like you messed up when ordering and won't acknowledge that their listing is inaccurate. I've worn carhartt for as long as I can remember but it looks like I'll have to find a brand that cares.

Deceptive Marketing?
The description is deceptive because mine is not waterproof. After spending more than 30 minutes in any amount of rain, I'm completely soaked. Hopefully it's just a defect with my particular jacket and isn't a common issue with all of them, but if your marketing consistently says "waterproof" and that it's meant for "steady rain" then it should meet those standards. Also, the zipper failed after less than 6 months of normal wear and tear, and the only solution is to be without a jacket for a few weeks while it's sent off to another location since it can only be done by Carhartt. Everything other than those two issues has been fine with the jacket. The rest of the material has held up very well, and it's very warm in the extreme cold with other layers on.

So have an all black storm defender fits good and hood size is perfect. So I wanted to get one for work but Fits big but hood is the biggest problem it's too big covers my whole face I can't see anything with it on. Very disappointed with this one
