Midweight canvas gives these men's Carhartt five-pocket jeans their work day durability. Hardworking crews appreciate the relaxed fit with a little extra room through the seat and thigh for a good range of motion. Straight leg design fits over most work boots. Denim is pre-washed with a process that uses 60% less water than traditional methods and no bleach.

How to Measure

CHEST:

Measure just under arms and across shoulder blades holding the tape firm and level. If your chest falls between sizes, order the next size up.

NATURAL WAIST:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

HIPS:

Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

Fits

Relaxed Fit: relaxed through hip and thigh; tapered leg.

Loose Fit: full through hip and thigh; wide leg.

relaxed jeans problem is the pockets get holes wear double stitched and the rest of the jean is good

Good quality jeans

I've been buying Carhartt jeans for quite a few years now. I like the fit & quality but, all of them tear at the same spot after a while. They tear at the left rear pocket, upper right-hand side, every pair I have. Other than that, they are great. I'm probably not the only one that has this happening. You should look into it.

I ordered these jeans on 5/22/2026 and ripped the crotch out on them on 7/9/2026. They barely lasted just over a month. Not worth the money even if carhartt was giving them away for free I still wouldn't take. Material is too thing and light. For a brand that built it's name on ruggedness and dependability for the American workers. It's extremely sad and disheartening to see them sell out those principles and adopt cheaply held standards.
