CLICK BUTTON

To use our Brand Your Gear services, select EMBROIDERY or SCREEN PRINT for any eligible product page and complete the order placement steps.

  • For embroidery: a minimum order quantity of 6 units of the same fabric type, logo area and logo file is required.
  • For screen print: a minimum order quantity of 12 units of the same logo area and logo file are required.
  • Consider timing: embroidery services require approximately 30 business days for customization.
  • Once complete: your order will ship direct to the shipping address provided and tracking information will be updated on your account.

Please note, the use of individual names does not count in the minimum unit requirements. Orders submitted with unique names will be subjected to additional fees or cancellation.

UPLOAD LOGO

All logos uploaded for embroidery will be digitized to create a digital file formatted for embroidery. To ensure the highest quality embroidery design, all logos are digitized according to the selected product fabric, color and location.
Screen print logo files will be designed to use a maximum of 4 ink colors. If more than 4 colors are required to create your design, additional charges will apply.

LOGO DESIGN FILL

Logo design fill options offer simple visual edits to adjust file settings on your logo. Transparent PNGs offer the most flexibility for these edits. If you have any questions or concerns with your logo, please contact us at CompanyGear@carhartt.com.

LOGO COLOR CHANGE

By selecting a logo color change, Carhartt will apply the selected color to the entire logo design. For best results previewing this change within the visualizer experience we recommend using a transparent PNG file and/or utilizing the 'Remove background color' feature before selecting your logo color change option.

If you do not have a transparent PNG file, the logo color change option may cause the visualizer to display a black or white square. Rest assured if you select to change color, we will apply the desired color accordingly.

APPROVE

Logos will be reviewed by our Carhartt Company Gear team for quality and legal use. After approval, orders require approximately 30 business days for services.

REQUEST A PROOF

You have the option to preview your logo design before we begin “Brand Your Gear services”. If you are reusing a logo, this should not be necessary. Once proofs are ready, you can access them from the REVIEW PROOFS page on your account.

HOW DOES THE PROOF PROCESS WORK?

To request a proof, please check the box in the shopping cart on each logo design you would like to preview before you place your order. When your logo is ready, you will receive an email with details on how to review and approve your logo.

If you would like any changes made, you can submit a revision with your feedback. Please be specific so we can process your updates as quickly as possible. During the proofing process, your order will be prepared for the embroidery and/or screen print services. Any delays in approval could affect your estimated delivery date so please keep an eye on your account for updates. If we do not receive a response within 5 business days, our team will approve your logo on your behalf. Want more details on the proofing process? Watch this short video for some quick tips.

REVIEWING YOUR PROOF

See how to access your proof, verify accuracy and confirm branding.

WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR WHEN REVIEWING MY PROOF?

When reviewing your design, please look for color selections and design interpretation accuracy. Remember that dark colors may not contrast well on dark fabric colors like Black or Navy.
Although your proof will give a good representation of your logo, remember that digital mockups and physical stitching will vary. Device screen brightness settings and the human eye can see color differently too!

EMBROIDERY

We offer embroidery on garments that best suit embroidery services. Each product style has defined embroidery locations that best fit the garment design. All uploaded logos will be sized to fit the maximum width or height of the available embroidery location. The maximum width on all embroidery locations is 3.25 inches wide. We currently limit customization to a max of 2 locations per product.

Embroidery requirements vary by product fabric. Logo designs may be reused across like fabrics or will be redesigned to accommodate variances between fabrics. To determine the most efficient use of your logo, apply the same logo file across all product fabric types within your order and reuse previous logos even if your design is on a different fabric type.

  • APPAREL fabric includes most tops such as shirts, sweatshirts, coats and jackets.
  • FLAME RESISTANT fabric includes products that meet flame resistance standards. These designs will use flame resistant embroidery threads.
  • GEAR BAG fabric includes toolbelts, backpacks and other bags.
  • BEANIE fabric is used for knit beanies and includes required underlay stitching for extra embroidery stability.
  • CAPS are designed specific to the shape and fit of our caps.

EXAMPLES

SCREEN PRINT

We offer screen print on garments that best suit screen print services. Each product style has defined screen print locations and all uploaded logos will be sized to fit the maximum width or height of the available location. To return the highest quality design we recommend a maximum of 4 ink colors per logo design. If your logo requires more than 4 colors, additional fees may apply. To determine the most efficient use of your logo, apply the same logo file across all products and reuse previous logos even if your design is on a different product. We currently limit customization to a maximum of 2 locations per product.
If designs ordered do not our minimum, an alert will notify you in your shopping cart and you’ll be allowed to edit as needed.
