Prob not the best for men, but ladies, this is the best fitting pair of pants I've ever bought. I was struggling to find women's FR that were a reasonable cut I could move around in, went with the men's planning to have them altered and was in shock by how well these fit. The waist is smaller than they say it is, I'm normally a 26 but the 30 fits perfectly while being loose in the legs and making my butt look amazing. I probably like these for all of the reasons the men dont, but considering how difficult it can be to find women's FR gear, I'll happily take the win.

The waste size for me was also too small. Fabric also seemed thin. Reading past reviews, it looks like a common and long-time problem. Ugh, Carhartt is another old and trusted brand that has let its quality slip.

I've been wearing these FR pants for years and they are super comfortable, however, with the latest set of pants that I received from my employer, the sizing is inaccurate. I normally wear a size 36' waist and with this new set, I can barely snap the pants. I receive five pair at a time and all five pair are super tight in the waist and no, I have not gained any weigh. Carhartt needs to address this immediately.

Like others noted - Sizing is way off. Carhartt needs to address this.

The fit is full, did not run small for me as other reviewers have noted. Fabric is odd, thinner than duck and not that warm, left side pocket is quite small, will not fit hand pruners.
